I'm STILL paying off two of their managers to keep feeding me publishers. That company is not only NOT loyal but they are extremely happy to keep whoring their publishers for a measly 3% under the table.

All your beloved networks, aren't so beloved. Dirty Business.

thats fsome funny stuff

Evolve or perish

Yes we had some layoffs but the number is wrong and the reason is wrong.

If you haven't been paying attention or have not been reading WF threads, the affiliate marketing business is changing. We are actually re-structuring to offer compellingly differentiated service/added value for affiliates (so that you can base your decision on working with us on more than rumors), guaranteed volume and quality for advertisers, and actual product value for consumers (imagine that!).

But to invest for the future, we had to cut. It was not enjoyable. Change is painful. However, we hope to emerge stronger and so powerfully able to deliver higher revenues than anyone else that you will not be able to resist us... despite the fact that we will assimilate your minds into our corporate borg beehive consciousness. Well actually, that will be optional.

...17 people fired at one shot, in the same room earlier today. From all departments (AM's, AE's, Billing dept, Production, etc).

Reason: Underperformance. (srsly?)

That's illegal. We do not condone it. And that does not reflect our company morals. If someone working here is doing it and we catch them... they will not be working here.

I would imagine it's illegal or at the very least against corporate policy somewhere. But your not going to catch them, neither are any of the larger networks because it's been going on forever. It happened to me as a publisher from two other networks who are on this board, which is how and why I remembered and utilize the tactic in the first place.
