True and True.
He just never disciplined or trained the dog in any way, so it doesn't listen when you tell it to stop or anything. As a matter of fact, if you as much as look out the window and it sees you, it will start hopping off the ground like a rabbit, all 4 legs at once, and doing circles, while barking as fast as it possibly can and then stopping to stare at you. Then doing it again.
If you walk away, he runs to the window and barks for 30 minutes.
My roommate is a dip... The dog doesn't bark at night, as it only barks when it's outside, and it's only outside when my roommate is gone, like when he's at work.
Reason being: Dog chews EVERYTHING if no one is watching him. So he has to be locked in the backyard during the morning/day
Of course, because my roommate is never home when the dog does it, he doesn't understand...
I've told him 2 dozen times that he needs to do something about the dog, and he always talks like he is going to, but it has yet to happen.
Last week, when the dog ate my brand new pack of smokes, he found out how I really felt, and I know he knew I was serious. lol
We'll see. I didn't know my roommate beforehand, as I found the room on Clist... So you'd think he would be even more apt to keep the damn dog under control, or at least keep it off my side of the house in the yard so I don't have to hear it.
I tell him 3-5 times a week that I couldn't sleep or concentrate on work because of the dog, but nothing has been done.
I gave him half of my rent on the 1st, and still haven't given him the other half.
What did I say?
"Here's half... Once the dog shuts up and I can concentrate for more than 3 minutes a day, I can work and get paid, then pay you. I spent 2 weeks trying to get 3 hours of work done because I have a dog barking in my ear from sunrise to sunset."

lol
