I got featured on Yahoo News re: Obamacare

In order for you to subsidize anyone you'd have to not be a broke ass.

As for the rest, employer controlled health insurance is worse for workers. Less choice, less mobility in the economy, etc. Employers would be able to raise wages and likely would due to wage pressure if people controlled their own insurance

I had my own insurance for years when working cubicle jobs. Up until recently, I was able to get a high deductible policy for under $150/month. Those policies have since been outlawed.

You're not running a sustainable model if you cannot fund a group policy. End of thread.

His business is already competing with offshore call-centers, meaning that he likely charges his customers a premium and doesn't have much room to increase the price. Considering that offering insurance would cost an additional $600,000 to $900,000 annually, PapaJohn made the right call. That number translates to roughly $2 to $3 more per hour per employee - a cost that would be hard to pass on to the consumer.

With that said, PapaJohn, was wondering how'd you grow your business? Organic growth, or some sort of capital injection?

I originally saw this thread and thought it was a joke on your username and the actual Papa John's pizza chain. I just watched the video and realized this really is your company.

Congratulations on your success!

Dat arm fat!

If a sampling of 89% of the US wasn't physically represented here in all its blubbery-glory, maybe we could afford to insure and employ our citizens full-time?!?!
