Nope - she truly has zero knowledge, but spouts off like she's an expert.
She had her "partner" try and defend her there, but the post got flamed and then deleted.
HAHAHAHA

Yeah - that's the guy that got the "mafia-style phonecall"...
It was so freakin' funny!!
The guy who called him asked him if he liked boys, seeing as how in prison his choices would be limited, LOL

Yeeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhhh, I'd be pretty careful about stepping over the line, especially in this case. She has already shown you her character flaws and I doubt it'd be a stretch for her to try to show everyone yours, if you did anything to overtly cause her harm.

Taking over her site would only be temporary anyway. Anything she could even remotely link back to you, directly or otherwise, would only damage any positive result you may hope to achieve. Cunning revenge requires care and patience.

As for her scamming people, I don't like people who do that either but my philosophy is Caveat Emptor ( caveat emptor: Definition and Much More from Answers.com ) I don't like it anymore than you do but whose responsibility is it to look out for all the morons of the world? Not mine. I don't see the benefit of getting myself jammed up trying to save someone else from themself.

Miguel - Warrior *yuk* Forum gurus are EVERYWHERE! Too bad they don't have to wear signs so we can spot 'em easier.

I just finished sifting through this hoes websites - she's a fucking clown. So are her friends (I mean a threatening phone call? jesus christ).

Scamming people, selling eBooks, putting up pages asking for donations, cults - I wouldn't even waste my time on her. She's already fucked up, I don't think you could bring her down any further.

Bringing her down would be a public service, but my motivation is far from saintly. She stole from me. She needs to pay - and be held accountable for what is owed. THAT is my number one concern.
If, in getting my money, she is brought down and slinks off to hide under her rock, I would consider it icing on the cake.

Yeah, I understand. If it makes you feel better go for it, just don't let it distract you too much. She isn't worth it.

ok, this is really simple and the white-hat way to take care of people who rip off and use your web site designs without paying:

DMCA the web host, they have to take the content down and they will probably ban the user. If the web host is a virtual reseller and they refuse, even easier just run a whois.sc on the domain and find out the real host.

Any kind of whiny threats to sue/pissed off complaints are pretty much useless and a waste of time.

Tried that, Andrew -
The snag was that they required proof that I was planning to sue her within a certain time frame, which I couldn't provide without her full name and physical address... which brings me back to the first page of this thread.

uh... who required proof? The DMCA has nothing to do with proof of sueing someone, or even sueing someone in the first place. It is a notice that a webhost/ISP is hosting copyrighted material.

The address of the person you posted was listed as the US so I was assuming that their site was hosted in the US too. If its outside the US, then its different.. but if it is in the US, they are legally obligated to remove the content immediately, the challenge has to come later. If they ignore the request then the host/ISP opens themselves up to legal liabilities for what the customer did.

The person AND the host were both sent the notice.
That was when I learned that the hosting was owned by William Brooks who is apparently a friend of K Smith.
Basically, the notice was ignored.

Sucks!! i am 'kind' of dealing with the same thing right now but i did it through a friend and now his company is dicking me around. They want me to do more work but i refused until i get half. I also locked their server and changed all of the passwords so that they cannot screw me over.
