So I was creating a few ads and checked out what else was out there. I have my profile as a 38 year old single male college grad. Naturally, I figured there would be a *few* dating ads... but...

I guess someone wants to have all the bases covered.

And bravo to anyone here who got a dating ad through.

ahh man i miss the days when i was getting 3 cent clicks on my dating ads when the shit first started.

lol, i guess your part of the reason why the click price went up, huh? Can't complain though, since im one of those noobs who was inspired by your blog.

+1 upper-left (just for the relative picture).

I tried a dating add and they said something like I had to include all the information about the offer on the add. Who knows though.

I have this theory that ads get approved more at certain times of the day. I wonder if it is true.

I say we should all organize one day where every stops all ad spend (and let me bank on it). That would be so funny. Wickedfire is the sole financer of Facebooks 425million dollar debt. Srsly, they better be developing a search engine, otherwise theyr'e fucked.

This is how it would go. 90% of WF would do it naively. 10% would rape and pillage their newfound cheap clicks.

If you're being serious this is good to know. But i feel like when I submit ads late at night, they end up getting dissaproved around 8am

When I was playing with Facebook, I would have a few creatives ready for review a bit into 9pm; so that they're ideally approved by 10pm. I would then test the waters, and if the first few creatives are approved - I would start submitting several variations of the same advertisement. Why submit as many as I can? Their system begins sending impressions to each advertisement, from which you can decide which creatives perform best (get the most clicks) and adjust your bids accordingly. There's no use in deleting your lower click-through advertisements though, because Facebook will continue to send a few impressions each day; although not nearly as many as your well-performing ones. These may get you a few additional clicks, and possible sales.

Just throw as many advertisements as you can out there would be my suggestion. If your campaigns are converting nearly as well as mine were, you will want to hit your daily spending limit regardless of which creatives get you that traffic. Paying a few more pennies here and there to get those clicks shouldn't matter at that point. :)
