I quit high school when I was 15 years old.

I knew about Blackle quite a while ago and I knew, as soon as I looked, it didn't belong to the google... but these people are quite likely college educated Minot News Video | Google introduces "blackle" and don't know the difference. :error:

I love it when "educated" people make themselves look like idiots.

I don't like it. I remember reading about this a while back too and uck, I just don't like it. Someone (at wf I believe ) did an article on their blog about White backgrounds and conversion rates and that white screens over all other colors, constantly have a higher ROR.

(WickedFire forum being the exception of course ;) )

Yes that's why I posted the quote....I probably should have added that if they had bothered to look at the bottom of the search page they would have seen the link that led to that quote :)

My tangent about white conversion ROR was just that , a random tangent.
 
If I was the owner of Blackle I'd jizz my pants if my site hit a tv outlet and was reported on... This site was doing great virally, but to get a boost like a news story (especially one where you are passed off as being the big G) has to be great for traffic.

To turbolapp:
They aren't really trying to get a huge ROR, I mean think about the effort involved in putting this site up. I could put that page up from scratch in like 5 mins. Then all you need is a decent server and you are pulling in a very tidy income from Adsense clicks.
