Good. Perhaps you should do what I do when I get into a low spot.
A bottle of tequila, 2 bottles margarita mix, 1 bottle top shelf vodka, 2 bottles top shelf scotch, 4 cases beer, 1 bottle crown royal, 1 gallon orange juice, 3 cases Coke, an ounce of the best bud you can afford, and 2 weeks uninterrupted.

Take/study the course(s), multiple times if necessary. Don't get hammered, just be comfortably numb. Dictate into a recorder or take notes with ideas you come up with.
Lock yourself in your office and just absorb what you're learning. It takes guys years to learn what you can easily pick up in 2 weeks of intensive self study. This is true for a lot of subjects.
I'm 99.999% confident I could ace the Windows server 2008 exams today if I wanted to because I spent 10 days a few weeks ago sitting next to a European pool, drinking, and studying my ass off. Do the same with the Black Ink project course. It's not the catch-all guaranteed way to bang out a million a year, but it teaches the basics, which all of us need to refresh on once in a while.

Pick 1 niche I'd ask someone that knows what they're doing about a niche. I'd suggest something that you know converts well. So your efforts are worth it.
Pick 1 traffic source, SEO may not be the best way to go to start. As it's extremely slow and tedious. You may get discouraged and quite before you ever make any money that way. Could go around buying banner space on other peoples sites. Could look at 2nd tier ppc engines. Could play with content network ppc. Could look at posting ads somewhere like craigslist. Could look at paying for listings on ebay and figuring out how to monetize that. Could and the list goes on. But pick one! And learn it inside and out.
1 niche and 1 traffic source to start. Get advice from someone you trust. You may consider signing up for an affiliate network that has AM's that know something and could point you in the right direction. Honestly you can put a lot of time into an offer that just doesn't convert. I've done it many times. Great traffic source tons of traffic and no conversions. If you're going to consult with someone make sure you know what the %'s are based on different traffic sources as all are different. Something I used to not understand is some AM would say the epc on this offer is blah. And then I'd run it with the same traffic source and see nothing close to that. Well they were sending people to a landing page rather then direct. So just make sure when you get advice it's good and you truely understand the metrics.
Keep at it man. I worked 15 hours a day 7 days a week when I started and made almost nothing the whole first year. Something like $10k for the whole year. That's less then $1k a month. But I'll tell yah I'm sure glad i didn't give up as it's paid dividens 1000 x's.

3.) Make content unique
4.) Repeat
Now you have lots of pages to get indexed who gives a shit about how much you know about it and you can reuse the code you wrote. Also you can whore yourself out as a code monkey.

You could pocket quite a bit if you can maintain the quality of your content. For the time being, at least slap some advertisements and play with affiliate marketing with the dough you make through that.
