What campaign types do you recommend to convert fat women into weight loss program subscribers? This forum is awesome, by the way. Who made the skin and the icons?
 


fenryr, I agree and I'm looking at other options like myspace bulletins and coregistration, but I'd like some expert opinions as well.

ExEnigma, being new here I don't get your post....unless you mean that Ben is the the ultimate marketing tool for converting fat women into customers. lol
 
How about standing outside your local weightwatchers with a sandwich board promoting your site? Hey you could even get a job as a checkout assistant and put flyers in their trolleys ... Boy you are on to a niche there
 
Im pretty sure he ment Ben is the one that did the designing, because ive seen some of his work and he does some GREAT work.

Well, you reached this fat woman....I have had some luck in the past at finding recipes that fit a particular diet plan. So, South Beach styled recipes etc. I consider it filtering. If they (fat and those that just follow diets) are already looking for diet recipes they are in that frame of mind.
 
You could put up some signs advertising a service or something, and say "No fat chicks allowed, if you have a problem with this, email...", and then market to those email addresses :)
 
Hmmmm, see if you can find BBW personals sites that have adsense ads and then you can try site-targeting those sites
 
Actually, targeting fat women is probably too general and like Sarah said, you'll get a lot of people pissed off and/or uninterested/not serious purchasers.

What you should be doing is targeting fat women who are looking for diet products, specifically.

Even more specifically, fat women who are looking for diet products and who are ready to buy right now. That's your meal ticket, pardon the pun.
 
And don't just concentrate on actual fat women. Think about how many average-weight women *think* they are fat...

Anyway, I am already targeting the women who are looking for some specific diet products but I am just looking for ways to get more traffic. I have decent traffic (5k/day) but not that many conversions.

I don't want to do PPC. Does anyone have coreg experience? I might try that in spite of Pipeline Profits hyping it up like no other. heh

Yeah, no matter what the niche, I always say it is best to preach to the already converted and just get them to your version of the scripture.
