I See The NFL Is Still Promoting The War

Veteran's day was last week and yet the players are still wearing military merchandise and military banners are strung up throughout the stadiums.

I wonder how long it will be until they promote this shit every week. Working in cahoots with the powers that be to brainwash us into believing being at war and having US taxpayers footing the bill is completely normal.
 


They have "support our troops" on the end zone too..

But it's not ALL about "promoting it".

They are just marketing it to the men who will be "fans".

It's all about the membership, feeling a part of something... Human nature dictates that we need to be in a group with like minded people.

Hence why people wear Jerseys to the game, outside of the game, display their team's colors, etc. (Stupid).

...

They connect on their job (military) which already is a "group" and touches home, and they add in the NFL "team" and they will leech more $$$$ and make even more profit.

I suspect they're also marketing to children and young adults, in addition to their membership parents. Wars tone down when less people are willing to fight, or tired of the costs involved. They need an influx of fresh meat, as 40 year olds don't typically sign up for shit like that, themselves. The fresh meat needs parental support, or young kids with no options.

It needs to be a mix, since very few people would support shipping the homeless and poor off to die, based on their lack of other options.

I have to say this, I'm not one to comment on political, economical, or social matters and I'm not trolling: I really love some of your responses. From a creative standpoint the metaphors and similes are pretty ingenious - and the deliverance - it's really phenomenal. I find myself waiting and hoping for a hellblazer response when I'm lurking on these types of threads just to witness the creativity/expression of your viewpoint.

Anyways, back to our regularly scheduled programs...​

It's funny a bunch of sports fans complaining about the fact that military servicemen are the brainwashed ones and that everyone else except yourselves are brainwashed for cheering for them.

Enjoy the $12, testosterone lowering beer and idolization of niggers who earn more than you ever will for playing a ballgame.
