I Sold My Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Collection For $2,400

Wags didn't make enough selling his turtles or his records so he resorted to the last thing he has:
"I'm probably getting another $500 to $1,000 from selling my Magic the Gathering
collection of cards I have no use for anymore."

I had never heard of this guy before today, but this article was hilarious. Whinging about the fact that posting articles to article directories no longer works as a traffic method! He seem's about as innovative as a sloth.
I thought it was an okay(ish) article that articulated something important: always keep an eye on your promo methods. You may have to adapt to something new at any time because the business constantly evolves. The article didn't dazzle me with great brilliance, but it was decent.

To me, the really funny part was when he wrote an ebook about IM when making $1.2K a month.

He charges $1,500 for sales pages, fo sho? :hollering:

You guys are fucking hilarious. I can't stop laughing... especially the I'm Selling My Record Collection thread, it's golden! LMAO

Unfortunately for him it looks like his new business model is selling these songs as royalty-free content.

Feel bad ripping on the guy when he's going through rough times, but since he's marketed himself as a "make money guru" type, he should know better than others that you gotta be able to accurately identify and play to your strengths.

I am starting a new business and chucking the one that didn't work. This
business WILL work. But I need funds for the software I need for it.

I understand that. But to make that kind of money I would have to sell them
individually. With that large a collection it would become a full time business
and it would take months to get any decent kind of income. I need the money
NOW to invest in my business NOW so I can start making some REAL money...

NOW

Well, God really does work in mysterious ways. The software that I need just
happened to be on sale today. So I just got about $1,200 worth of software
for a little under $700. Tomorrow I'll go to my friend Steve's store and get my
$1,000 minimum and still be $300 in the black.

Maybe my positive attitude is turning things around for me.

He has a software that does all that...

"I have a lot of rare 45s and albums."

"The problem is, I don't have any one record that's worth more than $20."

Yeah, except I'm pretty sure Gilbert doesn't really talk like that when out of character. I think he sounds like Woody Allen in a Gilbert Gottfried sound-a-like contest.

I'd consider buying a few, lol. I'm wondering if his new software will improve the production quality.

That Remember My Name songs is actually decent, I mean, all things considered. Yea it's fucking weird but it has a hook to it.

He's better at music than marketing, not that that's saying a lot.

I see he wasn't able to make it to Warrior Event 2012:

Wagenheim deserves all the scorn he gets. What a pathetic full of excuses twat. I've been much more broke than he is and I didn't bitch and make up excuses. And before Panda, he was one of the worst douchebags on Wafo.

I remember reading posts from him a few years ago bragging about all of the money he had....what a fraud. If you read about his story now it's that he had a few good months in 2010 because of an affiliate who sold shit loads of his crappy book, but that was it. Ever since he's been telling people how to be successful. He relied on Ezinearticles traffic, didn't adapt when it went belly up, and sat on WF posting ever since. No wonder he has so many posts.
