Also if you use the same banned adwords login for gmail, analytics, calander etc. make sure not to sign on using the new IP. Start completly fresh.

Most affiliate marketers chase the same ol' CPA / lead offers from networks like NeverblueAds, Copeac, Azoogle, Advaliant, FireLead, ML, etc. etc. etc.

Nothing wrong with that, but most such lead / cpa offers are not for long-term business. Offers come and go. That's why they're called "offers". They have a finite lifetime.

I suggest you try out physical products instead. Find yourself a niche of interest, and build a site around a product or some products in that niche. Check out networks like CJ and ShareASale and get their datafeeds.

Many physical products have longevity and will have sustainable consumer interest for many years to come. Think about it - many different ringtone/green tea/iphone/zip submits etc. will come and go. Rules for these will also constantly change because many marketers try questionable tactics of promoting them - and hence, the advertiser is forced to tighten up.

On the other end - there are thousands of physical products that there will always be a demand for and that people actively search for year in and year out. If the cpa / lead offers don't work for you, go with this model.

Btw, you will experience a much more stable income with this once you find something profitable. Product merchants' policies rarely change like they do with lead offer advertisers.

Or - make some money on the side of this by building some lists with Aweber for cpa / leads.

And.... there are SO many ways you can make money on the net besides affiliate marketing. How about flipping websites or domains?

How about checking out some of the ideas on this forum (the $200k/year thread or some of the other classics).

Remember: NEVER give up.

I have made about $50k over the last 12 months with PPC to offers. Over the past 3 months I haven’t been making any money and have actually lost about $500 testing different things out and trying to make broken campaigns work again. I didn’t lose $50k, but it sucks to have no income for 3 months and things are still not picking up. So I have to get things working again or move on to something else. (I’m already working on other things, but idk if it’s going to work out yet.)

I have only had about 4 campaigns that were successful and lasted more than a month or two. All the others have made very little or died so quick that it didn’t matter. But they all eventually died for one reason or another (see rants above). I have about 30 campaigns in my Yahoo account that once made money, but now none of them do and they are all paused.

I thought it would be much easier to keep campaigns profitable and to continue building them. Then eventually after a year or two you would have a handful of campaigns making good money and all you really need to do is keep tabs on them.

I guess I was way wrong and need to focus on more long term things like what ImagesAndWords is talking about and probably build an actual site instead of just landing pages.

Anyway, thanks for all the feedback, it helps :)

Arbitrage can provide the highest quality of traffic, problem is too many don't know how to do it properly. Also its a root cause problem, the ppc affiliation model started years ago by handing out white label (ppc clone) sites to third parties so its unsurprising that they are now everywhere. Yahoo in particular are a big fan of syndication.

Balancing advertiser conversions and maintaining high affiliate revenue is getting quite tricky for some ppc affiliates.

I'm in the "newbie chasing leads" phase and I'm actually having a little success. I really want to grow what I'm doing.

What I want to do is transition to my own site and products and services I can sell from affiliate links, but I have a couple questions. Are lists just "side" money. I've heard they can work quite well. Would a "service" work well also (like say WebEx meetings from Jeremy Palmer's Black Ink2 or the oft-mentioned dating or web hosting niches)? I'm assuming they would.

I've really hit a brick wall trying to get a direct-link PPC campaign going on Yahoo! and am inclined to think they suck. I'm just trying to grow my search cash flow to bootstrap what I've got started, but so far it's driving me nuts. Any help there is appreciated.

Friend the easiest way to earn the money is through online casinos try it and don't be so deprived.
