There are reports on this virus that "once it's loaded on your machine", you need to rename ALL .exe files on your pc to ".rol"... if even one .exe is not renamed, the virus will spread. Rename all the .exe's, do a reboot of your computer (cold boot and after powering down wait at least 10-15 mins before powering up), and the virus will be gone. You can then rename your .exe's back again. PM me if you need help.

Yes, I did this last time I caught the spinner virus and now I'm dickspin-free.
Make sure you also delete the host file for the spinner virus.
It's located at
C:\Documents and Settings\%YourLoginName%

the file name is 'NTUSER.DAT'.
That is one nasty DAT file if you leave it on your PC after the reboot because it renames all your rol files back to exe before you can do anything about it!
