Yeah I saw that on tv this morning, and that just doesnt seem right - no matter how fucking squishy they are, I can see lawsuits flying with twisted or broken ankles.
 
This actually creates a worrying precedent for parental stupidity.

Ok, sure, these ones are cute and squishy. But parents are going to get used to seeing their kids in heels, and the kids will be used to them being the shoes of choice.
When they start walking, this is a really fucking stupid thing to have as a normalised, because if children's legs and feet develop with the presence of high heels, they're going to be in for some major problems when they attempt to wear flats, or even just walk without the heels. We're talking major tendon damage and developmental issues.

IMO, this is worse than Playboy and Jim Beam branded clothes for pre-teens.
They're just designed to get young consumers drunk and sexualised when they become teenagers.
These have the possibility of causing direct physical harm by getting kids to assume that high heels are normal.
