I want a netbook



I have bought my GF a few of these.

Aspire One = THE suck

HP Mini 1090 = Much better than the Aspire, but the pig can barely run XP.

Next one? I don't really care anymore. They are too small for my tastes.
 
I just don't find Netbooks practical, sure there super small and portable but so is my iPhone, try getting any real work done on a netbook other then checking your facebook, When I take a laptop with me traveling I expect it to be a replacement for my desktop and be able to use the CS4 suite.

That's why I have a 13.3" unibody Macbook ($899 referbed from apple) Its small, Lightweight but still has enough screen real estate and processing power to actually use CS4 and multi task, plus the geastures on a macbook just make getting around app's and sites 10x easier/faster then any other laptop..
 
I have used all kinds of different netbooks and tend to agree. We have over 10 of them here at the office. They are slow and old good for web browsing. I do enjoy the portability and the chicks love them. other than that they are worthless. Slow as all out and just underperformers all the way around.
 
got a acer aspire one with 250gb hard drive and 2gb of ram. So far no complaints. I dont think the preformance is anything to worry about honestly, runs fine.
 
I want a convertible tablet netbook I can use as an e-reader. I have no use for a tiny laptop, and I suspect most people don't either.
