When I was 3 years old, my mother tried to teach me how to swim by soaking me up in the water like a teabag. It didn't work out because I was able to beat my fear of water only when I was 14.

My child takes these classes. Had one this morning. It's called ISR. Infant Swimming Resource. I've been told they've never had a student die in the 30 years they've been teaching it.

At the end of the entire class, they have to pass the class by showing they can survive in summer clothes and winter clothes. Summer clothes were today and tomorrow is the winter clothes test.
