I would rather pay to bump my thread in the services section.

It would block out all the scammers who just go on to scam people. The fact that they had to pay to post an AD will make people trust them more since they are putting money out of their pocket.

Then once that rule is instituted, they should make a rule where you can't bomb someone's thread that "you want a free review."

I'm tempted to agree (with the paid inclusion/bumping part).

All of the best forums to trade at, in my experience, require you to pay for a listing in their BST section. As already stated, it eliminates the spammers and makes the whole buying/selling situation safer (or at least seem safer).

That said, this place doesn't seem to have a huge problem with scammers (yet?). I guess it's the general "tell it like it is" attitude which permeates every section of this forum.

If you ask me what I like about WF, I would say, it has a number of quality Service providers and buyers. Why include the paid option when it's doing quite well without it. The moderators does a great job. If WF includes a paid option, then how will it be different from Warrior or BHW forums? I love WF as it is.

There are 2 sides to the coin. People are really looking up to WF because it doesn't cost them money to start a service. That means I need exactly $0 in order to start making money online whereas most other forums if you see have become more of money making machines. WF doesn't make a penny from any of the members, it's a "non-prophet-mocking" organisation, of course, except for the little bit of cookie stuffing. But that's alright :D
If you look at the flipside though, as you said, having a small fee can eliminate scammers who start threads in the BST sections and although I loved the fact that I could start a service with 0 posts and the day I joined, I think it should be made mandatory to have an account for 1 week and 25 posts in order to post in the BST section. People create an account, sell what they want and then fuck off.

Talking about reviews, I absolutely hate the fact that I see the same person taking everyone's review like he has a script or something to ask for a review as soon as a new thread is up in the BST section. There should be a rule that a member should have purchased that service or a similar service before in order to avail a review of the service in question. There should also be a restriction on the number of reviews per week or per month. Also, 1 moderator review compulsory. What do you guys think?

The straight up scammers get called out pretty quickly and their threads get crapped here and the other 3 or 4 forums where they have threads.

Minimum post counts are already indirectly enforced by common sense. The first thing someone is gonna (should) do before buying is look at the person's previous posts. If they are non-existent or come off like they don't know what they are talking about, that's an issue they need to work on, and they'll get called out for it. How they handle the pressure determines whether or not they still have a shot.

Someone coming in with 1 or 2 posts, offering a service and offering review copies should also use common sense when selecting whom to give them to. If they give out 3 reviews to people with 1 or 2 posts who are obviously all the same person, it's gonna show and they'll either get ignored or get ass-raped.

Anyone who takes more than 5 minutes to read some of the good sales threads and some of the bad ones will realize there's a number of members who you want to review your services (different people for different things) because they know their shit, and 1 good review brings 20 sales.

There's also the issue of trying to market to a bunch of marketers. It is very clear when someone signs up and starts a sale thread without reading the relatively short list of rules and pet peeves.

Also, be smart about this shit. If someone claims they are a SE0 and they guarantee to get you a #1 in google search for 'fleshlights', or if someone sends you 15,000 'real' uniques for $5, deal with them and you're likely gonna get shat on.

I agree with u at this point...:D

just ask a senior member who likes your service to bump the thread for you. Service members who bump their own threads too much will get them closed but we don't ever touch senior members. They can pretty much get away with murder on this forum.

Sounds good in theory, but that would be really, really hard to enforce.

As someone else has already mentioned, most of those sorts of things are already loosely enforced by the members here. It's unlikely you're going to make a hell of a lot of sales if, when asked, you refuse to let a moderator review your service. In the same vein, it's completely up to the service provider to choose who they provide their review copies to - I don't think anyone would hold it against you if you opted not to provide a review copy to someone who clearly trolls around looking for handouts.
