I agree that douchebaggery is not a partisan issue and there are intelligent as well as morons on both sides. I won't defend Savage on that comment because I don't know anything about the issue (didn't hear the sound bite).

Seriously though, it takes an awful lot of energy to hate as much as you have demonstrated in recent history. I read the great feedback on this board about your hosting business so I'm sure if you could just channel that energy to making more dough, you will be happier and more wealthy.

I actually get people from WF who go through the trouble of emailing me, just to say that they'll never use ZenSix, because I'm a liberal (and it doesn't matter how good the reviews are). But that doesn't bother me... Without trying to sound like a douchebag, I'm probably the happiest person I know and I'm totally satisfied with ZenSIx.

With that said, I can tell you where my obsession with Republican talk radio and tv comes from: My family. With the exception of my mother, everyone in my family is a "Fox News Republican". And when I say everyone, I mean every single blood relative I have ever met.

I grew up listening to the extreme far right. Not to mention the fact that I worked for a Republican/NRA fund-raising company for almost a year. So I think I'm qualified as someone who has talked to a large enough group of Republicans to form an opinion about them. Add that to the fact that I'm extemely anti-political-party / anti-government and take it from there...

Anyway, Fox News and talk-shows like Hannity/Savage/Levin/Beck/etc, all sound like parodies to me. Like it's all a giant skit... but it's not. It's embarrassing.

So when I hear someone say that when Google News puts newer stories above older stories it's a conspiracy, or that the life span in the U.S. is shorter than Canada because we have more people, I can't help but wonder how people could actually believe this.

Sometimes that leaks out in the form of WF posts. I'm just trying to see how far the crazy spreads.

Well, I personally despise liberals almost as much as you hate conservatives but as far as the hosting goes, service is service. If the hosting rocks, I don't really care who's behind it as long as that indifference for one's position goes both ways and does not prejudice the provider's level of service towards me.

Honestly all this time I have thought the level of passion you have for this cause HAD to be due to a woman somewhere.

Well let me be the first "republican" to admit i use ZenSix for hosting (i have one wordpress blog set up for SEO on shared, but i plan to set up a few more there). It's not my main host, but i was looking for some other cheap hosts to get my blogs on diff IP's. I also sent a few friends to you as well who wanted cheap hosting for their blog.

And i was well aware of your pollitical views before i signed up. But i have no problems worjking with libs (many of my good friends are libs). I may disagree with your entire outlook on life and your 100% flawed logic and unethical and unfair positions, but unless i know you are giving money to some terrorist/abortion/harmful group, i have NO problem giving you my buisiness (or hanging out for that matter) just because of your politics..

Sorry to hear that other people with my views don't use your biz just b/c of your vierws.

BTW, just to point out, MANY libs do the same thing to republican buisinesses. My dad is a HUGE lib and he refuses to shop at Sam's Club b/c he heard their owner was republican. It goes both ways....

Liberals are not the opposite of Republicans. Democrats are the opposite of Republicans.

Liberals as we understand them are actually progressives. Progressives vs. conservatives (against tradition, for tradition loosely).

Liberals proper, are libertarians. They are non-partisan, neither right nor left. They are for civil liberty (progressive) and economic liberty or property rights (conservatism). They believe in the sovereign individual, and almost without exception, non-aggression, although not all libertarians take that ethical position to its logical conclusion.

Most people are liberals in ideology. It is the original American ideology, imported from Europe after the Enlightenment. Progressive Democrat and Conservative Republican are not liberal ideologies. They are statist ideologies. They place the government above the people. Liberals believe that government is under (subservient to) the people.

Just sayin'. There are more than two teams or ideologies. Life is not so black and white, although the ruling classes certainly like people bickering over red vs. blue, right vs. left, conservative vs. progressive, republican vs. democrat like it is Steelers vs. Cardinals or Lakers vs. Celtics.

I spent money there yesterday, but like you say above, everything is not black and white. Something like half a million of our tax dollars go to the workers of each Walmart store on average, in the form of public assistance. That's just one of the "hidden costs" behind their low prices.
