If you had $20,000 cash lying around...

Well, fuck you too.

Turn your funds over to a hard money real estate lender. In my neck of the woods, 1%/month is a typical return...choose the lender carefully though.

this thread is a strong indicator of the few entraprauners left on WF. There is 1 and only 1 answer for a buisness owner, plow every penny back into your buisness. OP if you want ot double your money find something people want to buy and sell it to them

If its taken you more then 6 months to save it then put it back in your business assuming you have faith in yourself. If it took you a month or 2 to save it, then go buy a cool car that you can restore and possibly flip for a profit. If nothing else you restored something, made something cool again, laid some rubber, and maybe got a chuckle somehwere along the way.

If you have any debt, pay everything off, including your car, after that, buy some premium domains, and develop sites, and roll with it

Solid returns.

If he hasn't obtained his initial capital back (implied by his post) that is actually a -82% ROI.

People love to think highly of their investments, so they lie to themselves about the reality.

Like so many gay webmasters or gamblers or stock traders who say "I made/won $xxxxx today" while omitting the $xxxxxx spent to achieve that 'earning'. For the most part, investment is a wealth preservation action; not a way wealth generation (there are exceptions)

I agree with this. You can't go wrong with a few, solid keyword domains and right now Flippa has many for sale between 3 - 10k, perfect opportunity.

I believe wallstreet.info and a handful of other premium .info domains are for sale. Sell some links and throw up some ads, maybe add a few affiliate revenue-streams into the mix and you'll have something flippable in a few months.

I would invest in two of these and some coke.
