I'm Going To Manila. Any Recommendations?

Many a chuck norris movie has been filmed at or near pagsanjan falls.
Some people go north to Bagio.
If you go south to Cebu, stay off the fuckin boat. They always overload them and they often sink. A couple times a year. And being in shark infested waters it doesn't matter how well you swim. Take a plane.

One spot I liked was called Tagaytay. Its a little higher in elevation so the weather is cooler, and there's all these volcanoes there. Cavite is good to see. Both maybe 2 hrs or so from Manila. Not really in same direction other than south of Manila.

Boracay is cool. If you make it there, find the bats!
They're huge. They call the the flying dogs of boracay.

Visit boracay island. I'll go there in Oct. Can't get more exotic.

the only place I could say might be more exotic (haven't been) is fiji. a bit off the grid.

but look at the size of the fuckin bats in boracay

The Philippines in July sounds so hot and humid, I'd go crazy. The advice to head for a higher altitude is sound.

How accessible is the Internet in these remote places? Will you expect to be able to work?

Just got back from Manila yesterday/this morning. So hot there right now was between 30-39 each day.

Went to Borocay and liked it, it is the more touristy place of Philipines, similar to Cancun and Mexico.

Went to a place called Puerto Galera and loved it. So nice and small. Amazing snorkeling/diving.

One thing to look for are the tarsiers- little monkey guys

I hope to be able to work. I might check out some SEO companies while I'm there as well to get a feel whether I'd like to give them some business.
