So you're the guy who took over the ringtones terms, but in the process, also showed a ton of ringtone and grocery coupon ads on the term "online dating" this weekend?

Anyway, congrats on gaming the system, but I'm pretty sure that Google could find out how you game the system... After all, they do have full access to their own backend, and can probably see everything going on.

google can figure out if someone is paying 1000% more then the next clickvertiser for a term.

if someone is doing that- he's gaming google.

They have no automated system to check that, which is the stupidest thing for them to do... Their system can spider your page and determine "quality", but it can't compare the display URL to destination?

Part of the reason may be simply because you are allowed to have a different destination url as long as you land at the display url domain. e.g. direct linking

Though I'm not sure why they wouldn't just follow the redirect and check for where it ends up.

It does get caught within a few days though usually.
