I was wondinering how important are unique landing pages as opposed to sending the link directly to your offers lander.

I realize the beneifts are:

-You can really customize it to fit keyword relevance

-You can upsell the product before you bring them to entering their info.

But if say the offer was just a zip submit or a dating offer and very little fields wouldnt it be counter productive to give them an extra page to get through?

Basically I would like to know some examples of offers that would need a custom lander and those which it would not work so good.

Sorry if this is a noobish question but ive wasted too much time at digitalpoint and you guys are much more helpful.

Thanks,

im gonna go out on a limb and say you haven't read to many threads around here..

Honestly I have read quite a bit of threads but the search function in most message boards is lacking and usually points to a thread started 2 years ago which shows little relevance to todays market.

I think my question is a lot more thought out and less annoying then the flood of "how much money do you make" or "can i make $XX,XXX in a month"

im gonna go out on a limb and say you haven't read to many threads around here..

nice try, btw im almost 100 percent sure I make more money than you and I dont have to live in PA to do so.

2008 and you're asking these questions?

I signed up in 2008 and thats when I first starting getting into online marketing but then I got a job offer I couldnt refuse and slowly abandoned learning so yeh.

You know I don't see why its so hard, if you don't have anything or even if you dont feel like responding then you don't have to but honestly message boards are for helping people and not for flaming. You shouldn't have to search the entire archive just to ask a simple question.

WRONG

NEW RULE:
IF YOUR POST CONTAINS

"I KNOW THIS IS A NEWB QUESTION"
"THIS MIGHT SOUND NEWBISH BUT..."
"SORRY NEWB HERE...."

IT MUST GO IN THE NEWBIE SECTION

Thats fine, honestly I didn't even see that section on the resolution I was at when I posted.

Thanks,

Short answer: Nobody will give you examples of landers (don't ever post/out landers, on any forum as 'examples').

Yes of course unique landers are important, you answered your own question. You have the advantage of being in full control of the pitch/pre-sell/graphics/hats... And if the lander is provided by the vendor then obviously you're going to want to differentiate yourself and avoid the dilution.

EDIT - Giving to karma, overdue here.

but honestly message boards are for helping people

You're right. Message boards are for helping people. But if dipshits like you keep filling them up with redundant, newbie questions, then they eventually become useless and help nobody.

You shouldn't have to search the entire archive just to ask a simple question.

You're right again. Everybody in here owes you at least that much. You shouldn't have to put forth the effort toward something, no matter how small.

and not for flaming.

You don't like it, then GTFO.

Right, and I'll pretend like I give a shit where you live and how much you make. Have fun marketing my products, making me rich, because I'm surely loving it right now. Next time don't ask such a stupid fucking question and expect real answers. Fucking Idiots these days.

I think that you have conclusively proven your higher worth as a person. You see, in real life, the amount of money you make is what really counts. Goodness, honesty, likeability and trust are just buzzwords that the rabble created to put down truly great people like you. It all comes down to dollars baby!

In my own experience, I have also found that if you make a bold statement, that you should dampen it. For example, when confronted with an aggresive man, you should say "I will almost definitely kick your ass right now". When you are getting jerked around by customer support at a vendor, you should say over the phone "I am somewhat likely to call your manager right now and get your ass fired". This has worked for me almost 100% of the time, every time.

Finally, when requesting help on a particular topic, it's a great idea to be confrontational and to antagonize the very same people you are asking for help. Sometimes, you may feel that the people that you asked for help are refusing help for a silly reason. In those cases, instead of talking it out, or asking for guidance, you should confront them and make them angry at you. Angry people offer the best help.

I think this should be a good starting point for your journey in affiliate marketing. Good luck.

Bro, test it. I've ran a dating offer in which I direct linked because my conversions were actually higher versus using my LP (that I used successfully for the same niche dating type offer).

Just test it bro. Way to many fucking variables. I love you bro.
