Why are they asking her a loaded question like this? Assuming that it's true in all cases (it isn't), how is she supposed to answer the question?

Does it say that women are not paid the same as men? Does it say that women are taking low paying jobs instead of getting more schooling and getting higher paid jobs? Does it say that a small amount of men get a better education and make better money, while the others sit at home and let their wives earn a significant portion of their family income?

Maybe it says that women don't know how to negotiate. Or maybe it says that women don't know how to stand up for themselves (on a whole there are exceptions)

Feminists don't like to hear this, but the difference in wages between genders can be normalized if you account for children.
Childless career women earn basically as much as men.
Taking time out to have kids and raise them comes at the expense of career opportunities and skill advancement. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but it is a tradeoff.
Also, Miss Utah is pretty hot, she looks like a barbie.
