Just got back and it was awesome.... anyone else see it yet? Definitely better than the last 5-10 films I've went to see.

Incredible film. One of his best? Tough to say since just about everything he's put out has been amazing. A must see though.
I don't know that it was his best (hard to rank his stuff), but it was definitely better than what I saw last week... District 9, aka, Alien Rambo.
It's okay. A lot of the stuff was telegraphed too easily. Not Pulp Fiction, but pretty good. I was expecting it to be more bloody than it was. There are a lot of sequences that could have been cut a little because they weren't really doing anything. Also, shoes!
...but agreed not enough blood.
want to see it, but a few months back i saw a preview with my german roommate, was interesting to see it from his point of view, with the whole overblown "kill nazis" thing really getting to him - think i forgot present-day germans are still paying for their history
Saw it last night, one of the most entertaining movies I've seen in a long time. Definitely a masterpiece for Tarantino.

Your roomate is just uptight if he can't appreciate the humor. Nobody is saying all Germans are Nazis. And if your roomate is a Nazi (the only logical reason he should be offended), I will gladly tell him I want to slice him in half.
