Sorry about the Spoiler above but apparently I was the only one expecting the movie to be at least somewhat truthful to history anyways...
And yeah, I would have liked it much better if it would have been embedded in history. Don't care if all the Bear Jews would have died or not, I was really weirded out by the whole: "Oh, lets just stop the war" Ending.
in my OPINION the ending was awesome and thank god it was not embedded in history. I know the history, i don't need every WW2 movie to repeat that shit to me. But then again i also think distrikt 9 was good in it's genre, unlike something like war of the world, so my opinion most likely has no value to anyone like the rest of the opinions in this pointless thread.
