Any of you guys have some good documentaries that I should watch? Currently I have Muhammad Ali and 'History of the gold standard' to watch.

What else is recommended?

last summer i went on a doc binge on netflix, it recommended me 3 in a row where the main character either found out they were gay / it was revealed they were gay halfway through the movie. true story. one of them was about this guy who went and lived with cannibals then you find out he was stickin it to one of em, loves the bbc. another was was about this british mobster dude who ran the city then you find out he also likes to run the dickie. i don't remember the third one off the top of my head. anyways, point is, netflix knows you better than you know yourself so just start watching one at random, rate it, and go from there.

If you get the opportunity check out the BBC's recent documentary about the WWII PQ17 Artic Convoy. Incredible story.

What you say anarchists of WF?

Cave of Forgotten Dreams - 30,000 year old cave drawings.

The Art of the Steal - Government trying to steal a private collectors art collection worth 20 something billion.

Jiro Dreams of Sushi

I recently saw a trailer for a doc called Samsura that looked interesting. It's about the food industry.
There's also the Wikileaks doc called 'We Steal Secrets' that is supposedly good, but I also heard that Julian didn't quite approve of it.
Vice has a slew of good documentaries, along with a plethora of bad ones. I liked the
'Inside North Korea' ones and the ones about the terrible ongoing violence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

I watched the first 10 minutes and so far I agree with what they're saying. I'm fascinated by how much people are influenced by propaganda - and how well planned and executed the stuff people are exposed to everyday is.

I'm not sure where they're going with it, but the beginning is interesting, I'll try to remember to watch the rest when I get some time.

Also browsing the Youtube comments it seems that it likely wasn't created or "leaked" from NK. It was produced to seem like it was. Who knows - still looks interesting.
