Iphone 5s What A Piece of Shit

As always, you guys been missing out on the biz aspects of this.

Bluetooth
Apple FINALLY enabled the full bluetooth stack, but guess what? Devices that want ot utilise a lot of the newer functions need to have an isomething chip, licensed by Apple. So any hardware dev who wants serious apple fanboy cash needs to pay Apple first.

Better processor
Yeah, you don't really need that for a phone, but in one scenario, this could be coupled with a fully functioning controller: iPhone as game console. Hook up phone to TV, bluetooth controller, game away.

So more devices, more opportunities, more options and more money for Apple. And more closing in of the consumer into the Apple ecosystem.

They are going to make some nice bucks in China with their plastic 5C but on the whole to me it was a big failure and disappointment. Sticking to my samsung galaxy for now.

I just don't understand the point of releasing 5c - it's not really cheaper and not an alternative to Android phones (in terms of price). The only difference is that its covers are of bright colors))

I think it looks great! 64-bit, the fingerprint scanner, iOS7, the improved camera, slow motion filming and True Tone flasher, the motion coprocessor, the dark grey color and finally the improved LTE support. After years of using my 3GS, I'm going to upgrade.

OMG is apple the new AOL? That is enough of an argument to end the apple/android debate. Any of you guys old enough to remember being trapped inside AOL's ecosystem? Remember how great it was? Before long it wasn't.

The 5C is the real joke here. AAPL is so desperate for ideas now that Jobs is gone that they're ripping off the design language of a handheld devices business that was just sold off to avoid bankruptcy. The iPhone has been approved by the Chinese government to run on China Mobile now, but what's the point if nobody wants to buy it? Look at how much these things are going to cost in China --

Apple said on its Web site that the iPhone 5C would start at 4,488 renminbi, or $733, without subsidies from mobile operators. That is not far below the price of the new flagship Apple iPhone 5S, which starts at 5,288 renminbi. Both phones were officially announced in California on Tuesday.

If you follow the Chinese market you will also note that it is far less common for Chinese carriers to subsidize phones in return for signing a contract. Apple needed a cheaper iphone in China and they completely missed the mark. See you at $400 AAPL.
