Is it ok to use a web alias

Usually, the billing info must match the payment source (CC Info) for payments to clear.

Do you have a bank account with the name, or if they printed the name on a check, would you be able to cash it?

I mean the Ad's display URL is not taking you to a landing page, it takes you directly to merchant website but still shows the display url in the address bar. (Web Alias)

Adwords won't allow that on the search network, i'm not sure about content though. YSM on the other hand has no problem with either.
 
Yahoo definitely has no problem with "web alias" ) Adwords will quickly shut it down if they don't see a web site. But it might work on content. Try it !!
