Is Money Really That Important?

Money can help with your happiness, worked in the corporate environment for 10yrs felt like a slave to the man. It caused me undo stress and overall effected my well being.

Now I make my own money, house is paid off, car is paid off, zero debt. The stress of having to survive and pay bills, rent, just barley get buy are no longer. I pretty much do what I want when I want.

Money can buy you the freedom in order to do the things that make you happy and content in life.

One thing to avoid if possible is debt, it will also make you slave to the debtor, if I charge something I pay the whole bill do not make payments.

Just getting by sucks, having the freedom to do what you want is the key.

money cant buy you friends, family, education, health, culture, blablabla.... but can give you more options with all of those

and to me, life without options is like living in a prison

My perspective on money is exactly the same: living worry free and attaining freedom more than stuff. I don't bring much ego into this, and happy enough to drive a cheap reliable car that's all paid for no matter what I'm earning.

Yes, It is important. specially when you are talking to someone who never had anything. but then again it always gets to the point where you make too much money and then things change.
