There are a lot of high profile women who are very career focused who may not be married in their upper twenties or thirties, but that doesn't mean that they are hideous or desperate. A lot depends on the personality of the woman you're looking at/for. A woman who is building her own career and doesn't actually need you is probably your best bet for a happy relationship. A woman whose goal is to find a man to support her and give her babies is going to be a bit off the deep end most of the time.
