Im new to blogging, and I was curious...

It is a bad idea to copy articles from news sites, even if I cite the source?

Am I going to have to re-type all of the shit I want on my blog?
 


It's fine to use articles from news sites as long as you give credit. If your using wordpress and they publish the full article in the RSS feed you can use this plugin to grab the feed and publish it on your blog.

They are all news stories related to a certain niche....?

If I can do that, let me know and Ill try to figure out how to make it work... I love saving time

RSS Feeds are how a lot of people get content. BTW, for some reason your sig had me cracking up :D
 
I always reword stuff or simply cite small passages and then add my own thoughts. Then again, I am trying to add unique quality content and not copy a bunch of shit. I had a writer ( I run many blogs and hire people to write for free, basically) who was completely copying a bunch of stuff and I got major media coming after me.
 
Damn... Well this blog isn't really directly for money, It's just to help promote my website that its part of, which is my physical business... Dunno if that matters much... But I want to have a "news" section. Fuck writing my own news, im not a reporter. lol
