Is Weebly any good?

So everything I've read about using a blog for money making purposes says to use WordPress.

Has anyone used Weebly? Free hosting and easy set up. What's the downside to setting it up on Weebly?

totally correct i had a decent website that was a splash page for another and they shut it down no correspondence or anything just like that i saw a huge downspike 2 0 from 100 visits a day. In other words I was tight

How about for simple backlinks? Is it worth using Weebly? I've heard it's difficult to get them indexed without tons of backlinks.

Anyone here experienced consistent, long-term link value from a Weebly site? I'm thinking that if you keep it up with fresh content regularly, it might help.
