Isn't it great when things just work?

Dave best of luck.
We don't know you or your life. One thing is very obvious though, you are very motivated. I'm sure you'll succeed if you persist and stay on track.

Good Luck

Best of luck to you then. I hope by the time I leave high school I will be financially independent enough to skip college.

Fuck, if you can afford to go to college, then why the fuck not?!
You learn new stuff, meet new people and get laid.
Plus you get a degree at the end of it all.

Dave, get your arse back in school. I can't believe you're even considering not going to school based on a few thousand dollars. I'm doing five figs a month, have a shit ton of projects planned, and a big fucking ego when it comes to thinking I know my shit, but even I know better.

Besides, college is a great experience, you learn a lot more than just the course you take.

^does not work well.
At least not for me.
I remember back when facebook ads were exploding sitting there thinking
"I could learn aobut migration patterns of insects and go to class. Or I could boost revenue by $500 by actually working instead"
And down the school career came. haha
True, and it really depends on what course you're doing. I think everyone should give college a go though, and then decide if it isn't for them.

Ok. Agreed on that point. College rocks. I'm still nervous as shit about my choice actually.
But when it all comes down to it, I'm STILL living in a college town, even without attending. So when it comes down to overall experience? Obviously worth it.

College is fucking awesome.

I'm thinking of moving into a college campus even ought I don't go to college, cuz it's just waaaaaaay too much fun.

It's not that I'll automatically make money once school finishes, as I already am making money (and have been for 3 or so years). Sure, school itself is only 6 hours, but the time it takes to get dressed, go there, and come back home it makes it more like 8 hours. There are exams, homework, assessments...a significant amount of work flooding in that I'd like to keep on top of as I still like to go alright at school. It's really hard to spend 3-4 hours working on the sites as then I'd have 0 hours of free time.

Sounds like a good life. Try going to school 10 hours a day, doing your homework 5 hours a day, having the internet shut off at 11, and trying to maintain a social life in between. Jesus man, be grateful you don't have to do shit.

I am in college and it's not so bad. Party, party, party, oh and work. Then party all over again. :D

I'm glad things are working out for you :). You're totally doing it right. College is a waste of time especially if your strengths are geared towards Internet.

I'm actually quite surprised WF members are so into college, seems pretty contradictory actually. College doesn't teach you shit about making money online, or making money in the real world. It teaches you how to become a sheeple that collects a monthly paycheck by exchanging time for money.

You're totally on the right track and will make a killing if you stick to it. You are obviously passionate about what you're doing and that is one of the most important parts. Even if you lost everything doing what you love who cares? You'll come right back even stronger and have enjoyed the ride the whole time. Don't let people push you into college out of job security and fear. Screw that! Keep jammin man!

A classical education is never a waste of time, particularly if you do a degree in something that either teaches you how to think analytically (most people don't, even when they think they do) or teaches you a desk-jockey job that will always be in demand (i.e. accounting).
The way we make money online, that's going to change. Some of us will adapt, many won't. Being able to have something to fall back on is essential.
If you're just someone with a highschool certificate when your IM stuff goes tits-over-arse, where does that leave you? Most people in IM aren't "super-affiliates" & "gurus" who are self-promotion whores. Even fewer are the real powerhouses that manage to make an impression just by being good, ala Cakes & Jon. You're not left with much that a prospective employer or venture capitalist will find terribly useful.

Worst case scenario, and the bottom falls out of the IM market, I can fall back Journalism (my actual major) >> Events management >> Offline Marketing (my other major) >> Book Keeping >> premium level hospitality (cocktailing like Tom Cruise)... in that order.
All things I learnt through my time at University.
