To those curious.. I'm almost done making my final tally of the domains I plan on selling, because now there is no chance I'll be interested in developing the ones I was saving. I'll post them privately if you're serious about snagging some really good domains, not premiums technically, but all of them carry links (or will), get traffic to some degree from engines or typeins. No bullshit domains will be on the list, I'm just going to let those expire.
 
Congrats and the best of luck Jon. Hope your, im guessing $x,xxx,xxx investment makes you some serious bank.
 
neato...the magnanimosity of this project is to big for my feeble mind to comprehend...but good luck...i guess that leaves gay.com on the list now?
 
I'm curious to know, do you use a standard registrar for your domains, including Domains.org?

I mean say you have a million dollar domain name, do you just keep it in a bog standard namecheap or enom account?

Yes. If you have a valuable portfolio, its good to establish a relationship with your registrar. I have 7-figures sitting at Moniker and I feel fine about it.

Some of the higher volume guys have their own registrar, but it's by no means commonplace.

No plans are set in stone just yet.

But in terms of ideas, it would make every other project I've ever been involved in look like child's play. I want to go all out with this one, and really harness the large portion of my contacts that I've made over the years and do something BIG with this.

Care to elaborate on this? You looking for biz-dev partners, advertising partnerships, etc? It's hard to know what you're looking for without a little more detail.
