Wicked!

First thank you to Jon, SEO_MIKE, nachoninja, DruSam, chrislingle, micfire, randy, havokb8 and other members and moderators who have contributed something of value.

The first thread I read when I came here was the N00b’s Guide to Surviving. After that I’ve trolled the mutha for a few days and plucked apart, downloaded, read and re-read what I think are key threads to get educated.

My First Money Making Thread
Money Making Thread 2
7 Day Arbitrage
Guide to SEO
The Arbi Test
Here’s How I did It
And Let’s Learn…

Soon as I finish the whole MySpace lawsuit thing jumps out and now I’m a bit concerned because I don’t have the time or money to get going on something and then not get paid.

Now I have several concerns but I’m going to narrow down.
  • Can I have specific details on how to obtain multiple Google accounts for AdSense? From reading a few threads here and there it is obvious people do have multiples. This seems to be a must because if you screw up, well it’s like getting kicked out of an orgy right when the cute girls show up. – I have plucked the list of AdSense alternatives and will be signing up with them too. But feel free to throw some names out there. Of course I’m thinkng this info is P.I. so PM me if need be.
  • Now the other thing that has me wandering around lost like a hooker without a good pimp is SEO_Mike’s “Here’s How I did it” . I’m currently signed up with LinkShare but any program I pick I have trouble doing “research”.
Let me tell you some real examples I picked 8x8 Inc., Boingo Wireless, SunRocket Inc., Lingo, NetFlix, FootLocker.

Now for Footlocker if you type that in ‘the G’ there are zero sponsor links. So that nixed seeing what other sites looked like and getting a feel for what to do etc..

As far as the VoIP companies when I search for the related terms. All that I am able to find are the official pages or what appears to be “real resources” So if I can get some real affiliate or arbi examples from the companies above it may help me a great deal.

I think a part of what’s going on is that I “know” how to search. So thinking and searching the way a “regular user” searches is foreign to me. When I want to buy something I usually go to the store or hit the major online shopping lanes. If I want to use Netflix I just go to NetFlix, I really can’t even understand how a person would not go to the official website for whatever product they want.

I know I’m just missing something really simple. I literally sit in front of the computer almost all day trying to figure this out. I just need the “lights to come on” and the “Ah Ha” moment to take place. I’m not doing this as some fly by night or over night sensation.

I literally need to this happen because my well-being depends on it. I’m in front of the computer daily getting 2 to 4 hours of sleep trying to make it happen an have been for quite a while. So don’t think I’m not dedicated or looking for quick money, just smart money. I know I will make serious progress when I actually reap financial rewards for my going on 3 years of effort. It’s 5:26AM right now and I have been in front of this computer since 10AM yesterday. And for me that’s a late start.

I’ve earmarked some funds to get the ball rolling but between this recent MySpace lawsuit thing, the possibility of Google banning you and just plain having a hard time getting in gear…man.

I’m glad I found Wicked Fire and the information here may save my life.

I really wish I could have just lurked, read, and let my first post be about my success after reading the info here, but truthfully I just need help. Thanks for taking the time to read.

For multiple Adsense accounts, you can either get a relative/closeFriend to use their info and sign up......OR, get multiple LLC's (limited liability corps) and open an account up for each one. I only have a single adsense account, and I plan to go the LLC route when i need another.

As for having an 'A-HA' moment: Every time I think I've had one of those, it turns out it was either a bad idea, or it needed a LOT of work to realize it's potential. What I find is i have a *small* amount of success with something, and then I keep modifying and scaling the process until it succeeds.

Keep your head up and start spending some of that money in real campaigns. Until the money is out there, you can speculate all day long with no 'real' results.

Thanks you for your replies

1. As far as the Google accounts I think I'm covered now, but i don't have any relatives, so LLC is going to be the way.

2. I would like to do both from what I've read arbitrage seems to be for n00b's, which is me. My only concern is getting banned from engines or or CPC companies.

I just read feros "How to start a niche minisite" and that really helped me out. The thing with many of the good threads around here ...is to n00b's you don't know what's good info & what's not when people jump in and start having pissing contests.

feros how-two really helped me there was no interuption with his thought. I need the money so arb seems to be the place to start though. At this point i'm trying to get a grip on exaftly what tools I need and exactly where to get them.

Are there any comparison threads in here for keyword, stats tracking, etc. Right now I'm reading the YACG thread. What else do I need besides a scraper, a site generator, a keyword tool and some way to track all the sites? I really wish there was an authoritive listing so I can make an educated decision espcially if it costs money.

First off I think you have your cart in front of the cart. If your brand new start out with arbitrage (you will not get banned for arbi if you follow the tos). Do it manual for a couple of sites until you are making a profit. There is no sense autmating and scaling something that doesn't make money (tip from Lerchmo). Find a couple niches set up the sites and campaigns and send the traffic.

Then use Lerchmo's script that is stickied to automate it.

I was in your spot, and what you really need to do is hike up your skirt and get some arbi sites going to show yourself it can make money. It is addicting after that.

edit- I just saw that you are looking at niche sites too, it really depends on your goals. Arbi is pretty much instant response and niche sites take time to build up. Maybe start with arbi to finance your niche sites.

I had to get a few hours of sleep...

Thanks. I still would like to "see" some sites though. Everytime I look for terms, my results don't ever have the types of sites I'm looking to compete with so i can get a feel for what is out there. That is a huge part for me... Can I get some g msn and Y! search result pages with arbi sites in the mix? I need more than just a direct link to an example arbi site. Seeing an actual results page will give me a better idea of what to search for, what type of sites to build, etc...

I'm more of a visual/active learner, I'm not just stuck in "study" mode. As soon as I actually "see" SERP's with arbi sites, I'll be able to grasp how to search for them, understand the searchers I'm targeting and know what exactly to build. After that "getting some arbi sites going" is no problem.

I just did a search for "netflix rentals" nothing to me appears to be an arbi site..so if I can get a few SERP's from g msn and Y! showing arbi sites I can look, study, see what's best, combine, imitate, build etc...

Thanks again.

Do some searches on 7search for arbi sites or go to adsblacklist.com (those are all arbi sites too)

As far as having many AdSense accounts, how come you don't have any relatives? I've opened one for my grandmother... :)

Thanks. again I'm signed up to 7search and have checked out adsblacklist. That guy even posts here !

zeekr- as far as family goes everybody is not in the same situation or able to draw from the same support group as others.

I'm looking now into hiding the publisher id so it won't be "bothered" Now on with the hunt!

By the way I still need to know if there is anything else beside a scraper, a site generator, a keyword tool and a tracking system?

How are you going to "hide" the publisher id? Hide from who?

Stop looking for the perfect setup and start acting more, that's all you're missing :)
You can always correct in the way...

exactly my experience.

i started with ppc arbitrage 2 month ago. beforehand i knew virtually nothing about that topic, let alone adwords. however i knew, that this would be a business for me :)

during the winter holidays i grabbed as many mfa-sites as i could get and produced 250 sites. now i start to bring them online one by another.

i started with 3$ profit a day and am now making 30$. in a month it should be at least twice that if i do it right.

so, there is only one advice i, being a noob myself, can give: just do it and learn your lessons along the way. you get no feeling for the road if you don't hit it.

Thank you all for your feedback. I have signed up with several of the place that have been suggested here and have been developing some sites. The main place that gets talked about it seems is 7Search.

I signed up with 7Search but they have not called or responded to email. I've looked on the forums at a few other places that have been suggested but 7Search seems to be a reliable choice. I just wonder what the hold up is.

As for adsense, I'm going to go with alternatives for now until I can sign up business accounts with google because their terms are too ambiguous and subject to random interpretation.

No Google ad may be placed on pages published specifically for the purpose of showing ads, whether or not the page content is relevant.

I mean who interprets this. If a person places an ad on a page it by default is there because they specifically want an ad on the page. There is no other way or reason to put an ad on the page except to show an ad. then to add that it does not matter if the pages content is relevant.

That makes absolutely no sense and is subject to various interpretations. Correct me if I'm wrong. Maybe I should just contact one of those big adsense bloggers andget them to look into it.

For affiliate stuff I'm pending approval for a few sites. And I've downloaded some site-generators. I guess now I need a article spinner.

Thanks again.

Completely Ignore the google ad comment. Just make sure you got some content on the page.

As for getting approved from various networks. Call them up. I know azoogle sometimes can be a headache to get into unless you know how to pick up a phone them. Altho lately they seem to be more on the ball.

I don't understand why you need to talk to the 7search people isn't the sign up proccess automated? Did you check your email. I know lately they've been putting a smack down on alot of people and limiting them to 1k keywords.. but stopping people from signing up is crazy... Thanks Chris and Jon for ruining a prefectly good company with high moral values. Remember SPYWARE is okay but arbitrage pages aren't!!!

Okay, yeah... I probably shouldn't post when i'm this tired.
