"John McCain is a Liar."

Really.... it took you that long to figure that out?
Hell I coulda told you that when he was talking bout something as simple as receiving the highest awards from 'every' veterans groups.

Though unfortunatly this link: http://in.youtube.com/watch?v=4qRy4PnmNu8&feature=related

which showed him being questioned by a vietnam vet about that, and then clearly showing in a follow up that he lied about it, got removed by youtube for "This video has been removed due to terms of use violation." (not sure how unless the news media didn't like it's footage on youtube).

Well he IS a politician. That's pretty much his job.

Yea but even a politician normally isn't stupid enough to do something like saying The Association for Disabled Veterans gave me their highest award, then be able to call up the Prez of that association and be told flat out that he got no award and in fact was rated very low by them.

Would be a lil diff it was some kind of mixed truth or hard to figure out type of answer, which is more of what politicians are known for :P

mccain is doing what he's supposedly doing..

You know he did pick a running mate that matches his logic if you think about it.

He beleives he has an excellent experience record cuz he experienced war... as a prisoner, doing only what he was allowed to do.

And Palin believes she has excellent foreign policy experience... cuz she can see Russia from parts of her state...

a detained wetback by that logic trumps the both of them in foreign policy and war experience....

I know. I know. But I kinda saw him as different. (back in the day) I even thought I would have not minded him as president( if he hadn't brought the whole republican party along with him that is)

It's just disappointing.

If you were tortured for several years you'd lose some marbles.

As George Costanza once said "it's not a lie if you believe it."

They say what you want to hear to get elected, then do what they are told once they make it to the White House. The President has very little real power. Too bad people aren't this concerned when they elect their congressmen and women.

I'm no McCain dickrider, but Rolling Stone is the most biased, irresponsible excuse for journalism I have ever seen. Their website is worse.

Hell the first page had conversation on it that can't be verified in any way and was probably made up in the first place.

Well at least Obama is truthful and honest.

Leaves us at least ONE choice to vote for!

(disclaimer - I wouldn't vote for Obama or Mccain regardless - if you hate this crap check out other options such as the independent party)

Werd ... Chuck Baldwin FTW

Is he both the Constitution & Independent candidate?

Both are endorsing him, although I think he is on the ticket as independent party. It's a good choice for all of you who were thinking about writing in Ron Paul :)

Gotta admit what's below sounds better than what your hearing on the debates :)

Seven Principles of the Constitution Party are:
1. Life: For all human beings, from conception to natural death;
2. Liberty: Freedom of conscience and actions for the self-governed individual;
3. Family: One husband and one wife with their children as divinely instituted;
4. Property: Each individual's right to own and steward personal property without government burden;
5. Constitution: and Bill of Rights interpreted according to the actual intent of the Founding Fathers;
6. States' Rights: Everything not specifically delegated by the Constitution to the federal government is reserved for the state and local jurisdictions;
7. American Sovereignty: American government committed to the protection of the borders, trade, and common defense of Americans, and not entangled in foreign alliances.

AND IT'S NOT A WASTED VOTE UNLESS YOU DO VOTE FOR THE DOUCHEBAG YOU DON'T REALLY AGREE WITH OR THINK IS REALLY GOOD FOR YOUR COUNTRY, YOUR FUTURE, YOUR LIBERTY, AND POSSIBLY YOUR LIFE.

(*I also bet a lot of people were wishing Ron Paul was nominated right now as well )

"divinely instituted" .... Hmmm, more religious nuts wanting to run the show?

I know this is a divisive one in the US for some reason (see religion/politics mix as above), but how can anyone make a logical argument that 2 cells constitutes a human being?

Erect made a good point in another thread about how amendments to the constitution are meant to keep it relevant to the times we live in, this seems like trying to run a country based on what worked 200 years ago. A bit like living by a certain other outdated book...

Sounds like good ol' religious bullshit.

Epic amounts of misleading. This is not a political party that happens to have some christian values. It's the "I was to religiously crazy for the republicans" party.

It really pisses me off when groups like that call them selves something as compelling as "The Constitution Party" when they are arguably the anti-constitution part.

But when you take a crappy product and wrap it in a pretty package I guess that's just good marketing aye? :-/
