Excellent talk on the ethics of persuasion. You can learn a lot from his success and mistakes as well. Hope you gain something from his insights as I did.

Best interview of the year. Enjoy <3

Also, the chick sucks his cock at the end of the interview and chokes to death on his cum. A+ would watch again

Isn't this buffoon doing the whole motivational speaker, "I can make you rich" schtick now? That puts him one step above floor scum.

He gives good interviews though. I dig his personality, when it doesn't involve manipulating and lying to people.

Don't be so naive. Belfort is a greedy bastard and always will be.

His sales training is killer and I have the straight line videos and would highly recommend them, but he's only sprinkling in those "ethics" nuggets to keep people happy.

LOL... This interview looks totally fake... Like, who is this chick and who does she represent?

The entire thing looks staged!

You're naive if you think anyone in business is not doing it for his or her own self interest (aka greedy bastard). You have to use ethics to persuade and sell. Salesmen who lack ethics aren't as good a salesman as those who use emotion to persuade and make others take action. He's sprinkling in those "ethics" nuggets because guess what? it sells.

He's only ethical in the sense that he tries to sell value, as in he sold you straight line videos which actually help with the act of selling. This is contrary to his past where he peddled stocks that had zero value, and this all came back to bite him in the ass.

lol you're an idiot. Do you realize you just posted a sales video, most likely put together by Frank Kern?

Jordan Belfort, is and always will be a crook. He's a greedy, scumbag hustler that has taken people for hundreds of millions.

That being said, he is a BOSS when it comes to persuasion and sales but I can guarantee you he could give two shits about ethics.

Have you even watched his straight line videos? He'll be talking about being aggressive and moving the sale forward and then drop a sentence in like "Oh, but don't sell them if they're not sure".

It's BS buddy. The only reason he's put a small ethics twist on his training is because he needs to be landing those big speaking gigs with major organizations, and the only way they can justify bringing in a crook is if he has become reformed and learned from his errors.

He still owes close to $100mm and no one is ever going to see that money.

Don't get me wrong, I actually really respect him as a business man and sales master, but you're an idiot if you buy into his whole ethics thing.

At this point, he is literally no different thank Frank Kern, Tony Robbins, or Kevin Trudeau.

i was talking about using ethics in the sales process in general. i dont care about if jordan belfort is a crook. i dont buy his stupid products. the fact is, at the end of the day, when i use ethics in my business, i make more money. people like me and my product, so they give me more money. anybody can see that jordan belfort is a slimy personality, but that doesn't mean the message he is delivering is false. if jordan belfort actually doesn't give two shits about ethics, well then that's bad for him. he's gonna make less money in the long run.

also, calm down bro

Wrong again. You don't have to use any ethics to persuade and sell, and ethics have nothing to do with being a good salesman and tapping into someone's emotions.

i didnt realize this belfort had such a bad history. i apologize for sharing this clown's video to my fellow wickedfire brethren and to mpbiz. carry on.

I liked the movie and this was my 1st time seeing the real guy. Can't really imagine him in those kind of scenarios played out in the movie.

same here. this is first time ive heard or read of the guy since watching the movie. the message he talks about regarding selling a vision using emotional (and i refer to emotions as ethics) persuasion is 100% true, but the fact that he doesn't follow his own advice makes him no different from a fatass who sells lessons on how to get buff. separate the message from the man himself, don't buy his shitty products, and you'll still walk away with value.

He actually appears in the final scene of the movie. He`s the guy on stage at the sales seminar who introduces Di Caprio and calls him a "badass" or something.
