There are small errors within your original post. Maybe they aren't errors but they strike me as 'strange' ways of wording certain things. Take for example "Writer's qualification :"

Should there not be a 's' because you list more than one qualification?

Or

"So, probably by just reading this thread you have found what you are looking for."

Shouldn't that be something along the lines of "... just by reading..." ?

Either way, I've read over your samples and I'm un-decided. Could I get a free review copy?

300 words on the meaning of life would do well. Feel free to post it here so other people can see for themselves.

Thanks.

Hi KoncCorps,

My answers to your questions:

1. writer's is a singular possessive noun .

"Showing possession in English is a relatively easy matter (believe it or not). By adding an apostrophe and an s we can manage to transform most singular nouns into their possessive form:

  • the car's front seat
  • Charles's car
  • Bartkowski's book
  • a hard day's work

2. by just or just by has the same meaning in the sentence. I cant see error it it.

3. about posting here a sample, I will do that in the next 24 hours

Thanks!

Here you go....

Meaning of life is to experience the “Otherness”

Have you ever wondered what the meaning of life is? If you have, you will certainly agree to the fact that it is hard to get a uniform answer. Whether you are a philosopher or just an average Joe, it is hard to know what life is all about. However, it is still quite fascinating to see that everyone can tell you something in this regard.

For some people, meaning of life is to have free will; for others, it is all about following the rules. Despite the fact what philosophers and thinkers like Aquinas, Aristotle, or Kant have to say in this regard, a common man always come with a completely different stand on this issue. The problem is that people think differently under the influence of their state of mind. They take life differently when they are happy and all of a sudden they start making completely different statements when in bad mood. But, there is a large majority of people thinking that meaning of life is to feel God. And, they do it all the time.

Have you ever had an indescribable experience of “Otherness”? Everyone has it at some stage of life, but there are only few who really think about it. The happiness you experience after having a great cigar, sex, meal, or by witnessing the beauty of nature, life, and the universe is the way of SEEING God. And, seeing God through all these wonderful experiences is life! What makes this idea even more acceptable is the fact that people can also have the experience of “Otherness” when they are unhappy. So, irrespective of your current state of mind, you will end up experiencing the power of someone who has total control on your life. Experiencing and accepting the powers of that someone is the true meaning of life.

1. He's talking about Writer's Qualifications instead of Writer's Qualification.

2. It does feel a bit weird.

Yes you're right...thanks for a scrutinizing my thread.

I too don't mean to scrutinize, but I am because you say have you have a master's degree and teach English.

Isn't it standard practise to capitalize the beginning of every sentence?

Let me know if I'm wrong. Did you get a masters in teaching or in something else?
