Not long after his recent hearings and fights to stay out of jail, it is reported that Assange may have a new outlet to leaking information about injustices in the government that comes in the form of a new website: Tampon Leaks.

Odd as the title sounds, one inmate jokingly described it as a funny play on words to keep the guards from catching wind of what was really going on: "Man, so much shit goes on here you just can't imagine. I woke up in the bathroom beaten and a shank run through my leg. Worst thing is, a guard was the one that got me. Assange is my hero, man. It's our way of fighting back, you know?"

After more digging, a few other inmates we talked too for this story hinted at the source of the site name being from tampons being left on bunks for inmates thought to have gotten out of line so they know to watch their backs. When asked for an interview on whether or not this site is really his doing, Assange had no comment.

Nice try but the name just didn't sound right, can't imagine Assange using a name like that, and then I read the replies...

HAHAH i have firefox 4 and using the "prevent this page from creating further dialogues" was able to close just the tab without having to go into task manager :P it was a close call though i had like 15 tabs open.
