He's not on bail yet, the Sweedish court is appealing it. Until their appeal is heard he's still in custody.

I'm pretty damn surprised he got allowed bail at all. Of course, it's a bit trickier when most of their ways to get funding have been cut off.

A bunch of rich people (celebrities, etc) are also benefacting him / wikileaks. For instance Michael Moore is footing the bill to bail him out.
Michael Moore is not footing the bill to bail him out, he pledged $20,000 and offered to host wikileaks on his servers.
Apparently there are still some issues with the bail as well (aside from the swedish courts appealing the ruling which means another 48 hours minimum in custody as I understand it) in regards to who will post what (some shit about surety vs something else).
Pretty sure Moore can't handle the onslaught of wikileaks traffic let alone the ddos attacks. Unless Moore has some kind of super stud hosting thing going on that I don't know about.
I get a lot of my news updates from STS. It's very convenient because, unlike traditional news, the boring stuff get's filtered out.
