I hear that. I still haven't made it all the way through my rails, javascript and CSS books. I ordered some general business and direct marketing books too. It can be tough balancing learning and research with actual action.

Also got that book 'Eat that Frog' that I_Like_Cock has made a few posts about, maybe that will help with that.

I made a post in coding/design section about a cool tool that will get you going and that has helped spark a fire in my learning, I too have many books that I have never finished.

The only one I have ever finished was head-first XHTML & CSS that book is amazingly well written I finished that in 4 days, and still go back to every once in a while instead of my XHTML/CSS reference book

I hate regular expressions even though I know how powerful they can be. It can be confusing as hell depending on what you're trying to accomplish.

I used php's version a while back and was amazed at how it parsed page content. I once built a news archive site that would specifically grab the headlines and links from other news sites and place them on a single page.

It was like google news minus the fucking success LOL!
