One of the best keyboards evah, Northgate. Adjustable click too.

I've been slowly dialing in my workstation setup for the last few months and I think I finally finished things up today by getting one of these in the mail:
It has the Cherry MX Blues in it, which means it's nice and clicky. I'm still getting used to it overall (was using a flat style keyboard before this) but I can already tell that I'm liking it a lot and that I'll be a better typist because of it. It is loud as hell though, so I could see it annoying people you live with or share office space with.
also, not having the numberpad is awesome, keeps the mouse a tad closer.
Unless you're into gaming, the apple keyboard is pretty dope. I can type damn fast and with perfect accuracy on a mac. I'm pretty sure it would be faster than a mechanical keyboard since you have to move your hands and fingers less (less distance). 99.8% of my errors are because I make stupid mistakes... not because the keyboard isn't loud as fuck while I type.
If you guys want a loud keyboard to "improve your skills" then go get a fucking typewriter. Faggots.
you can't really knock one of these keyboards until you try one, they're a really unique experience. It's hard to describe something as subtle as the variations in keyboards, but I know all of us gay webmasters know what a shitty keyboard feels like, so it's logical to think that we can all just tell when we found a good keyboard.
I do like flat keyboards (I still love my macbook air's keyboard) but there's something really satisfying about these mechanical keyboards. And considering my entire livelihood depends on my ability to type (both writing and coding), $78 for a keyboard is nothing.
There's no study that proves mech keyboards will make you a better typer, a better gamer, make less mistakes, etc etc, they just feel nice.
I know a lot of you guys pay $x,xxx for a nice chair, which can be justified by the amount of use you get out of it. Same thing applies for a keyboard.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This goon spending all that dorah on a keyboard. Did you not see the nice sleek generic black ones @ walmart for the low low price of $9.95? That's what I use and I issue to all my employee's at my office. ..........One of my friends bought a "razer mamba" for $200 bux.
Remember... these gaming accessories won't buy you skill. If you suck at a game, move on... Theres a few online games I play and I own mother fuckers with my $10 walmart keyboard and like... $15 best buy logitec mouse.
People will blow money on shit tho that carries that persons interest. For example my guns, ammo, ghillie suits (lol), shtf stuff - far to much on scuba equiptment but I guess some people blow it on computer mouses, keyboards, fucking blue lit up ATX cases with not 1..2..3. but 4 cooling fans. To each his own right?
ok im still partially drunk from something a bit earlier so ill stop ranting. /lulz
...im just fuckin with you dchuk, but it aint gonna increase your skillzzzz
