If you're debating on what phone to get, like I have been for about a month, get that shitt. So far, I love it, way better than the evo, IMO. First day with it though, so we'll see how it goes over time.

Also, prob gonna root the shit outt of it and load up a sexy custom ROM to make it THAT much better.

One more thing, titties are sexy on it too with this pretty fucking screen.

Yupp, that about covers it.

I can't wait for my contract to expire.
My Droid 1 is nice, but the new phones are so much hotter.
Hopefully 3.0 (maybe 4?) will be out by the time I'm free from the grips of Verizon.

How are you finding the Spring network?
I'm in a remote area, and Verizon has that shit covered, but Sprint has the best rates by far, and of course, 4g.

Sprints just as good as any other carrier where I live, if not better. Downside is the lack of 4g coverage, although I'm hoping that will change when I move to florida. The stock look of the phone is also kind of cheesy, that's why I'm considering playing with custom ROMs. But great phone by far. If you're considering moving over to sprint I'd say go for it, or at least try it out.

lol I don't have 4g service, I would of gotten this phone if it was still on 2g, its just a badass phone, and after extensive research about which phone to get, I ended up with this one. And 4g isn't a gimmick, although it shouldn't cost more.

yeah, you're probably right. just like Apple MACs is superior to all PCs.

irrelevant.

As of right now, I'm still waiting for the android fanboys to bring up an actual valid argument as to how it is better than the iphone 4. The only benefit at this point that I've seen is the 4G capability, which is unimportant for me since I live in an area where it isn't offered anyway.

I admit some of the android models are good phones, but the reality is that they are still lagging behind the iPhone 4, and as far as I can see, will be for a long time... You guys remind me of all the people hyping OpenOffice around the time it came out saying it was comparable, or even better, than MS Office.

No android phone has all the functionality of an iphone in one model, certain models may have some of the functions, but as far as I know, there isn't a model ATM that contains ALL of them in one package. Let's not even get into the discussion of App's, because we all know who wins in that department, and we all know who will continue to win in that department. You have to be delusional to think that Android's app marketplace will reach the size of apple's. More iPhone users = more money = more app development, end of story.

Not that it should be the deciding factor, but the iPhone also looks much better than the majority of android phones. (let's face it, looks aren't exactly a winning point for the Epic 4G)

I'm open to hearing the argument from the other side, and perhaps there is something I'm overlooking that may change my mind. (But please don't give me the whole "oh but you are always bound to the apple store, etc.." because that's what jailbreaking is for..)

You're right, the iphone is smoother, and has more functions (don't know how true that really is). But when your iphone can do what this phone is capable of, then you might a decent arguement. Till then, enjoy your mac.

android market is surprisingly closing the app-gap very quickly, and will continue to do so even faster after the release of the App Inventor for Android which allows anyone and their dog to make an app.
