Just quit a six figure job at an inc. 500 company to pursure internet marketing.

you'll be fine as long as you're consistent. that's the bottom line.. be fucking consistent until you're making good money. no fucking around. work out hard every day, and work hard every day, a solid 6-8 hours. some dickheads around here will tell you to work 12-15 hour days, no, 6 hours of fucking good, solid / quality work is all you need; otherwise you'll get burnt out in the beginning.

the working out bit is to relieve the stress and anxiety you'll naturally receive by being self employed. that's why so many here get fucking panic attacks.. they don't get the stress out any other way.. exercise'll do that for ya.

just my 2c.

There's times you need to put in those hours. Sometimes it lasts a few days other times it can last months. You have to know how to handle it and how to actually take time off to recoup when it's done, but it doesn't always lead to burn out. I've been doing that for around 10 years. I've had 100 hour weeks last a couple months. Does it suck? Yes! However, looking at what you got done in that amount of time and the revenue it's generating is a nice thing.

True.. I should reiterate.. Don't think you need to put in 12-18 hour days consistently.. I do that shit once a year for a few weeks at a time and that's it. It takes a significant toll on the mind/body/motivation.

Not if you're good at manipulating your senses.

Think about people that spend their life in a prison cell? They are masters of manipulation.

That or just strong time distortion going on.

I think you are giving felons in prison too much credit...

Crackp0t fell off the wagon. Looks like he's back to blowing fatty rails again.

Maybe a better example would be when you're with a hot broad for a weekend, the weekend may seem like it went by fast to some...And before you you know it, the weekend is over and you wonder where time went.

Then take for example, waiting in line at the registry, which makes minutes feel like hours... It's called time distortion.

Point is, enjoy what you do even if you hate doing it, that way 12-15 hour days can feel like regular 6-8 hour days or not even being at work at all.

Well said bro. I definitely agree that you don't need to work 12-15 hours a day. See that being thrown around too much, and I certainly do not agree with it. If that was the case, I'd rather go work a 9 to 5 like a chump. I've worked 15 hour days (as have many others), and it really does take a huge toll at the body.

Working out is key. I try to hit the gym 5 days a week. I always feel pumped up and rejuvenated after.

I was at a 9-5 in a firm closely related to what I wanted to do. I got inside information on how things work. I combined that with what I got off the interwebs and wickedfire. I then quit, caught my nuts and pulled some all nighters. I was consistently putting in 8 hours a day building links and then things started shooting up. Although I built up from the ground while I was doing my 9-5, I sowed the seeds to what I now call my own network.

Im happy with the way things have worked out. Not delighted. Coz I know theres a lot more to do.

My three cents - Keep the faith although it may look like an epic fail at first. Then move on to quality. Provide lot and lot of quality. Work with some of the brightest minds in the industry and before you know it, you will be rolling into auto pilot. After a year of serious hard work, I now spend just a hour or two everyday maintaining the status for my products in the market. My secret = Quality Input + Quality Output

Edit: Oh yeah, Health matters too. Sitting at home can fuck you up if you are sitting with cola and chips all day. Get out, take a walk and then when you are ready, come back and fuck the market up.

Question, who is the hungriest, best up and coming IM out there that can ramp up a big campaign with <1 K budget, or nothing but a piece of the action if he knew it was a homerun. A BIG homerun. Spending all day on social media, PR, affiliate work, where is this guy? PM ME if you are that guy please.

Quit the rat race couple of years back, there's no point in thinking now what you have done but what's important is what you will be doing now. All the best and Hustle!

Whats ur plan? Unless you can generate income right away , you may have blown it.
I always recommend to start on the side till it gains some traction , and thats when you can back off with
Regular gig . Imho

I don't know, sometimes you burn all bridges and are forced into action, what I am doing now, I put my ass on the line for 4 back to back offers I am doing I cannot let them pass by and unfortunately I can't sleep, a bit of a problem, but
the first offer is multi-millions if I handle it right, the second also, the third a true game changing giant if the government doesn't get in my way.

My family on the other side created a brick and morter business, a school teacher starts a company at 35, starts another one which ends up being sold for 9 figures. I'm trying to live up to expectiations, we are late bloomers.

If you can find the 15-30 people please PM me, I have a immediate need for a IM whizkid, I will offer percentage of sales, it is a homerun, but I do NOT want to hit a double when I could hit a grand slam. It would be stupid of me.And I am a dumb ass for not buying .coms I was trading the stocks instead of creating the company, very small minded.

To answer everyone's question, My monthly internet marketing income has been greater than that at my full time job.

Have been doing so steadily for about 6 months now.
Have a lot of opportunity to expand at this point and felt like the right time.

And also to answer everyones question, no, I have no idea what I'm doing.

You are sorted then. Hustle up.

I hate when people just throw out "six figures" its such a huge range. Where you barely making 100K? or where you making 999,999 USD a year? Determining if you made a good decision would require this question to be answered.

And also, is it USD and does it include the numbers after the decimal?

the barely option, and not guaranteed, reaching that consistently would require a lot of hustle in the position.

just my 2c.

seriously.. the exercise advice is huge.. i workout at least 4 days a week and i kick my ass.. just today i ran outside 2 miles (in ohio, 50+ degrees but the wind chill was fucking nuts!) and i felt like my heart was going to explode.. not because of anxiety, but honestly i felt like that stress and anxiety was exiting my body.. i'm stressed as fuck being self employed with a wife and a 2 yr old daughter at home, being the sole provider is stressful.. $4k+ in monthly expenses, if i start getting fewer orders or it's a down time (like usually during the holidays), it's stressful..

but at least i have control over how i can handle that stress / anxiety... even though it's hell when i'm working out / running.. it's something i control and it's temporary.. when i know i've kicked my ass and i'm done, afterwards, it's pure relaxation brought on by exhaustion.. it's a great feeling and in a sense.. it helps you remove all of that uncertainty / worry / doubt from your game plan, and help you focus on what you need to do after an hour when you're re-cooping.

Can relate hard even though my living circumstances are entirely different and you'd tell me to go fuck myself if you knew how different they were. Still definitely understand the stress/holiday downtime B.S. though.
