Ya you are getting double keyhits on some keys. c hits v, m hits b, a hits x, s hits z etc.

Might try drying it more.

I would backup and switch to another machine if you have access. Then do the rice thing.

I spilled on my previous lab top a bottle of beer. My keyboard buttons stayed sticky (pressing the buttons) all those years. You better keep drinks far away from your computer if you want keep on using it...

Bag or rice OR bag of silica gel (that little poisonous packet that comes w/ shoes). Both are excellent moisture absorbers and you want your laptop 100% dry before attempting to boot.

Like a couple of others said, your probably screwed. If you had yanked the power-source and battery out *fast enough* you would been fine.

Its not the water that ruins the electronics, its the short caused by the water messing with the circuits (And burning something out).

As long as you get electricity out of the equation fast enough, there's very little in the way of electronics that you cant simply pop apart and dry-down (rice being the best choice, after patting it down with some paper towels, depending on how much moisture were talking about).
