I want to keep certain landing pages / websites totally separate from each other, so that no snoopers out there who know I own one can find out that I own the others... How do I set that up?

I'll register new domains privately obviously.

Would I need to create separate hosting accounts too? Currently I'm with BlueHost.com... if I just create a new "add-on domain" for my current account, I'm afraid people will be able to use DomainTools.com or something to find out about the rest of my domains.

Anything else I need to do?

Thanks.

Put each domain on its own ip and own dns.

I just spoke to BlueHost.com. They said the only way I can have each domain on it's own ip is to create a separate bluehost account for each domain. Darn. That'll get expensive.

Not sure what you mean by having each domain on it's own DNS? With BlueHost even if I create a new account, I'm still going to have to set my DNS servers to NS1.BLUEHOST.COM and NS2.BLUEHOST.COM.

You could add a terms of service and privacy policy link to the bottom of each site and change the look and feel of these up to further differentiate the sites.

How did you get in here? I thought CB was blacklisted? Did I miss the kiss-and-make-up memo?

I appreciate the responses but I'm still not getting a clear answer...

You guys who are actually making piles of cash from multiple websites... how do you keep everything separate? Surely you don't keep on buying more and more hosting accounts - or do you? What's the technique?

As pertains to hiding them. You won't. You can't. You can spread them out far and wide over as many ip's as you want - someone will find you. When they do, they will look at adjacent ip addresses. I consider this industry to be very, very transparent at the ground level.

You can take this with a grain of salt, but once I came to grips with the fact that hiding things is nearly impossible - I started to focus on producing things that others are either unable, or unwilling to duplicate.
