keyword country vs wordtracker

If I'm trying to find general keywords I prefer KeywordCountry. For some reason their database seems a little inaccurate for less searched terms even though they are using Overture stats. It is also much faster to build huge keyword lists where WOrdTracker can take forever. WordTrackers interface sucks compared to KW Country.

Word Tracker is better for searching in more detail and finding variations of keyphrases and long tail phrases.

I like wordtracker, it seems to come up with a better list of words for me. KC can be inaccuarate sometimes

I chose Keyword Country. It's quite good for arbitrage info since it's the only tool out there that realizes it's not only the high CPC that makes keyword a good keyword for Adsense.

Can I throw Keyword Elite in there? Now what about between the three? I do like KE's price...

Maybe we can get Chrislingle on here to comment - I think he said he picked up a subscription a few weeks ago was going to test it.

The only problem is that Keyword Elite itself doesn't gather any database or "make keywords". It's just a scraper program that goes all over the net scraping sites and other sources. So your results with Keyword Elite will be same as you would use Overture or other free keyword services. Also when you do big keyword lists, you'll end up with LOT'S of keywords that has nothing to do with your base keyword. This is the main problem of Keyword Elite. It doesn't have any intelligence to choose only relevant keywords. You have an option in Keyword Elite to use Wordtracker also, but you need user name and password for that so you would have to buy subscription to Wordtracker anyway.

But like I said, I prefer Keyword Country over Wordtracker. They are both EXCELLENT tools, but Wordtracker's interface is just horrible to use.

I like KWC better, like the interface and I get better results and can make quick decisions easier about traffic etc.

well KWC is basically scrapped content also...

I also tried it for a week and it was pretty good. I don't have the experience to compare it with other programs cause KWC is the only one I tried. The only thing I didn't like about it was the CPC estimates.

wtf would you use a tool for anything other than rel. keywords? the est. shit is just that, don't rely on it over testing

I prefer KWC too, but like JeremyL said - their database has its limits with certain niches. KWC actually comes in two versions; "Keyword Country Database Viewer" and "Keyword Country Live". Their live version is still in beta, but I have tried it. It still seemed too buggy to get a good feel of. It has the same interface as their "database viewer", but obviously works much slower since it does realtime lookups. Hopefully it will be able to scrape out some more rare keywords and niches.

The 'Average CPC' it gives you is just meant to give you a hint of cpc. But of course only testing can prove the real cpc values.
