So recently my pirated copy of keyword elite got deactivated and my method for pirating it patched, thus I was forced to stop making keyword lists or buy it. Although the software is worth $176 by far, I'm cheap and don't want to pay it. Searching the interweb I found this:

Vita Vee’s Blog » Blog Archive » Keyword Elite Discount - $83.50 instead of $176

$83.50, not a bad deal. I purchased it through that link and have everything up and running smoothly. Figured I'd post the link.

Where does KE get it's keywords from nowadays?

I prefer using Keyword Discovery.

Right now I just use their free tool that gives 100 results here: Free Search Term Suggestion Tool by KeywordDiscovery.com

I tried many keyword services and like Keyword Discovery the best, Wordtracker gives a lot of inaccurate search count data. Anyway...don't wanna go on too much about this but KD is a good option because their database is huge and relatively accurate... pulling from all the major search engines and then some...

Keyword elite sucks

What do YOU use Mr. helpful?

I personally use wordtracker, wordze, keyword discovery and google adwords keyword tool. They all give different data, but you'll get a damn good idea if a keyword is worth the trouble.

Mr. helpful, I like that. :1orglaugh:

I use adwords tool + wordze + yahoo

Btw, nobody here was asking for what others use, he just posted the link to KE which is why I only stated my opinion on it :p

Just so everyones clear all Keyword Elite does is scrape keywords from Yahoo/Ask/Google/WordTracker then throw the scraped keywords into the program to get more keywords. Giving you like 10,000 irrelevant keywords with like 1,000 or so relevant ones.

Use Niche Examiner. I was about to buy Keyword Elite too but I found this little gem. It's completely free.
