Anyway to outsource this or any general tips for doing it properly? I know the keywords I want to target in English and need to check if the volume is the same in other countries (Russia, France, Spain, etc.).

Anyone have any tips for doing this quickly and correctly? For example many online translators aren't perfect so it's hard to know if they're correctly translating my keywords to begin with, which of course is important if I'm going to check their volume/competition/etc.

Can't you change the country inside the adwords tool to dig up the volume numbers that you're looking for? When I was in mexico poking around spanish terms, this was the case from what i remember.

You're pretty much screwed there unless you get a native speaker from a freelance site to assist you.
have you tried on fiverr?

I've experimented with this a little in the past. I basically did what you described with a few additional steps. I would also search for the phrase on Google. You may get the correct keyword as a suggestion in the drop-down or in the related searches at the bottom of the page. Sometimes they seem to know what I'm trying to find and include search results that have the correct phrase even if it didn't match my query. They also occasionally included "Showing results for _____ Search instead for _______" in the results. Sometimes searching the keyword tool or Google itself for a single word would return the phrases I needed as suggestions. Translators are generally better with single words than phrases. It will still be a process of trial and error without a native speaker to help.
