Digg - MSN AdCenter Gives Me A Free $100 Credit - Read Why....

Digg Please

This past Friday (the 26th), I decided to take AdCenter for a spin. I’ve heard from several people that it’s a great network, due in large part to the fact that it converts good and the traffic is still somewhat cheap. Searching some forums, I found a coupon for $200 worth of advertising credit for new accounts. I tried to use that code when I was signing up, but it had already been redeemed by the maximum number of people. I signed up anyway, but called their help center to see if their was anything they could do.
Apparently the coupon code I had found was meant to be for a specific mailing list that AdCenter had put together, and I wasn’t on that. However, the rep I was talking with, Michael, was pretty understanding, and gave me a ticket reference #, and said he’d look into trying and get some credit applied to my account. I was pretty surprised and very happy at this, and he said he’d email me in a few days to let me know what’s up.
Meanwhile, I started my campaign (no troubles there), and turns out their traffic does convert better. The campaign I was testing converts 2:1 (or a little better) on AdWords, but Adcenter was converting 3:1 or more. I was very happy about that, but to be honest, I never expected him to get back with me.
I check my email today, the 27th, and lo and behold, there is an email from Michael, with instructions to call back and cite the reference #, which I promptly do. I (conincidence, or Providence?), get connected to Michael again. I tell him I’ve already signed up, give him me account name, and he puts me on hold for 2 minutes. After listening to some crappy elevator music, he comes back and tells me he’s got a $100 credit applied to my account, asks me if there’s anything else he can help me with, and wishes me a good day.
I’m extremely impressed with MSN AdCenter so far. For 1) he emailed me back on a Saturday, and 2) I got a free $100 when I really shouldn’t have gotten anything. Needless to say I’ll be testing heavily with AdCenter now.

Chill dude. Josh P is only trying to help and talk about his experiences at Adcenter.

fucking asshat newbies. why did you delete your post ripping josh for telling people about adcenter? i just wanted to mock you. apparently the joke is on me ;)

not to be a dick or whatever but i don't think its a good idea encouraging internet marketers with this forum

Not trying to bash you here jened, but can you give us your explanation on why not? I'm still learning, so if it's something really obvious to most of you, sorry.:rasta:

josh - xceed ripped you for propping up msn as a secret he didn't want to get out. i used his post modified a few fucking words to mock him and then he deleted the post. i was being sarcastic to him. i thought yours was a decent post but i thought it more funny a newbie signing on posting about letting secrets get out.

and btw you missed the context of nofollow - but glad to see you are posting productively now.

heh.. yea, I gathered that xceed's posts were retarded, but I don't normally get impressed by customer support (anywhere), but this just blew me away so I posted it).
And yes, lol, I'm looking to become more productive everywhere, especially on WF :) Enough lurking...
