I said it once, Lifetime Fitness FTW. much more expensive, but the gyms are high class

I just thought i'd tell my Bally's horror story. Well it's not that horrible, but for 3 months after a "summer contract" they kept billing me. I didn't realize it for a while, but they did, and then i went on a rampage. I spent like 3 hours on the phone with support getting my 3 months back haha
 


The Bally's free pass offer converted badly. Just saying. I hear so many horror stories, I'd not even give them a credit card. Month to month paying cash is the only way to go for me. Why even pay a place to exercise? You have to take your car to get a workout when you can just walk.
 
I did the LA Fitness route... you go to cancel they say you can't cancel and give you a form to send into corpo... Best route was to do it online -- they give you no verification it's even been received about 7 days later it finally showed cancelled. I'd imagine in the mail they would say they never got it and continued to bill
